Some, but I wouldn't say a lot. We've seen deer walk the same path as a wolf within 30 min. I guy I know watched a pack walk within 30 yards of a bedded buck. The buck watched them, but never even got up. Deer know when they're in danger and when they're just moving through. I've found probably a dozen deer killed by wolves in the last 5 years. The pic is deceiving since it was taken through a telescope. Having said that, my dad's buddy is up fishing and he gets a little distracted looking around for wildlife I hope to get you a picture you'll like next Fall I'll check the camera this afternoon. I'm betting he walked by it. I have it set on timelapse though, so he would have have to stick around long enough to get caught in the 1 per 30sec shots.
I haven't seen him/her this winter yet, but I been out as much as last year and haven't had the cameras out as much either
I was thinking same thing. Those Black wolves are one of the meanest looking things I've seen (in pics).
Just saw his again. Something drug the rib cage out to the road. I went to put it back and check my camera. Here's a few more shots... I'll post up a time lapse that's in process. Takes a while to put together 3400 images I'm gonna fish for a bit, but I'll throw up a link tonight. Birds, fox, wolf... should be cool.
Here's the link to the video, should be uploaded in a hour or so...
But I thought wolves cut the sickness out of the herd *(couldn't find video clip from 'Never Cry Wolf')
