Walked for over three miles yesterday, and saw a full racked buck. Didn't expect that, but it was cool! Still have about a foot of snow. No sheds, multiple does, and one yote that I got a pic of. Nice out finally.
Yeah the snow is just too deep for me to want to head out scouting yet. I really can't wait to go out. I've thought about picking up a pair of snowshoes but just have not pulled the trigger. Plan to do some really heavy scouting in March/April.
I hear ya guys. I believe we will be losing some snow this week and be able to get out there and put some miles on.
This past weekend I saw about 5 bucks total, including about a 140" 10 and a 120" 7. None of the bucks even had a side missing.
I have walked about 7 miles on one property, and almost 20 miles on another property. One property, I saw 4 bucks and only one had a rack. But then on the other property, I have only gotten a few pictures with a half racked buck, the rest have a whole rack. I have to wait a little bit before I have a good chance at finding something probably
