    Driving home and couldn't wait to see the wife, kids and dog. Get close to home and see a fellow hunter in the middle of the road. Went home and got a dog crate and fishing net. Caught him and drove him to the U of I wildlife rehab center in Champaign. He will go through 2 levels of rehab and then released back to the area.

    Wow. Well done. I have a couple of those owls that live on my property. They delight in scaring the bejesus out of me at early hours when I am headed to my stand.

    You're a better man than I am.
    When I was a kid I was squirrel hunting and heard this horrible screaming noise. Snuck over to where the sound was coming from and there was a owl that had a squirrel pinned down to a limb eating it while it was still alive. I know nature is cruel but damn,that was a bad. Hated owls ever since. I would have left it in the road at best. Like I said you're a better man than me.
