All the hard work over the past year looks to pay off when the season opens on Saturday. Good luck to many of you guys and let your hunting dreams come true whether you are after your first deer, first buck, first big buck, first recurve deer...whatever go get it done and have fun.

Time to drop the hammer gentlemen! Feel free to post up pics of scouting pics, animals on your target list, or any of your personal goals.

I haven't seen him or heard him but I know he is there......let the bodies hit the floor.

Saturday I will be in a stand in a locale that outside of setting the stand a few weeks ago, I haven't been on that part of the property in 20 years. Gonna be a special morning. Opening evening will find me on my main parcel with a good friend. Looking forward to it.

    Fats--good luck with that buck!

Ben-nostalgic hunts are the best, good for the soul. Best of luck and snap some pics if you get a chance, I would like to see the property of which you speak.

Our season opens Friday morning but I can't hunt until Saturday. My main goal is to see my 2 boys get their first deer with a bow. The only goal I've set for myself is to kill a deer with my dads bow. I bought him the bow a few years ago and he never killed a deer with it. Dad passed away in April, so this is one way to keep him in the woods with me. Anything above that is gravy in my book. Good luck everyone.

    PM me some TA's...

Got a few in my head we have spoken of, but you know I am going to need mad fast fingers on Friday to get us hooked up. I have my calendar blocked off, no meetings allowed and will have the door shut and locked at 1155 to get ready to call for a TA.

Hoping there is no training going on, many of the TA's I wanted were not open last weekend.

Button, best of luck, your goals sound quite admirable and genuine. I am hunting with a bow I bought for my father 8 years ago or so. He never used it and has since moved a couple thousand miles away. I am looking to take down my first deer with a recurve. I wish your boys the best of luck and I really hope you take down a deer with your dad's bow.

I will be in the stand Friday morning. Stands seem to be everywhere within the public land I'm hunting (one is only 20 yards from one of my stands) but I'm looking forward to a good season.

    Best wishes to all.

I'll be in the stand Saturday morning. Weather is supposed to be pretty nice. Can't make the evening sit, though due to a wedding.

Sean, PM sent. If you can get me a pass that is cool, if not I will survive. I will just show up and see what I can get. If I cannot get a pass then I will just drive home and enjoy my family. It will be a win/win situation.

I'm looking forward to my all day sit on Friday...couldn't be more excited, I haven't been able to go out much at all in the last two years because of school and landowners backing out of spots I'd been promised (their wived found out...I hate that crap).

May all your arrows fly true and your spirits soar brothers...it's time to make some blood trails!
