After a pretty eventful weekend of late deer encounters due to the full moon, after legal shooting light Saturday evening I watched a buck make a rub 35 yards from my stand he was very aggressive with this tree lol he got all hunched up and plowed into it then started rubbing. This Saturday its supposed to be 29 in the morning a perfect wind for my main stand which was surrounded with buck rubs I just have a great feeling about this weekend. So how was the deer movement in your area this past weekend?

Movement was insane... but also mostly after legal light. My cameras worked overtime around midnight. LOL. The kiddos are spending all weekend at grandmas this weekend so I will be hunting HARD

I typically, here in Wisconsin have one of the best sits this weekend. Always from the 26th-31st, I see some of the best movement. Most of the bucks that move this time are 2.5, but I have shot 2 bucks this weekend and also have encountered some real dandies. 2 years ago on the 27th about an hour before dark I had 9 bucks chasing 3 does around my stand and they were all 2.5 and older. I had 2 whoppers in the group but it was impossible for me to get them to stop. I have noticed this now for the last 5 or 6 years.

Fabulous! Plenty of doe & fawn groups moving through the oaks eating acorns with small bucks harassing them. And some bucks chasing does. One was sacrificed for the contest...
