I shot the buck on Indian Reserve land. You can use any choice of weapon. Started the trip using the bow but it was tough trying to pattern anything so I hung up the bow and decided to use the gun.
how early in the summer can u hunt whitetails on Res land? Do they have regulated dates to follow too or can they hunt any time of the year. Down here in Idaho the natives can hunt year around on their lands but I dont think they can guide on them year around.
From what I was told by Lawrence (who is the outfitter) the tribe sets the dates for the hunts. Usually they will run it from sometime in August to the beginning of January. Word of advice though it is freaking cold late season(lol). If you are interested contact Dan(lover boy) or myself and we can get you more info on the outfitter.
