No, you were answering for your homie. I was hoping to get an answer from him without it being swayed by his homie. I believe he's old enough to think for himself and I wanted to hear the rational behind his statement. After all, it was an insanely bold statement and obviously many others believe it was extremely naive.

It's a very serious question that has absolutely nothing to do with fear. Why are you here, think deeply about it. My faith tells me we are no accident that just happened. Your family, goals, hopes, dreams..... what's it all for? Where did Love and hate come from? Etc... I'm asking... This can't be all there is. I promise you.
I guess my question boils all down to trying to understand What the foundation of your life is. What's the foundation of morals, eithics, love, hate... etc. Learned behaviors from what? These are real emotions... not knowing to go to the bathroom when you have to piss.
Santa is over. We are chillin' and drinking a few adult beverages. He is reading this thread and cracking up.
Quite honestly, you would have to have faith to understand the seriousness of the question. Those with faith understand it quite clearly. It took me a while to step outside the box to see your perspective Hook, but I think I do and can understand why you asked. I am certain his question was genuine.
I'm drinking a fantastic beer, watching one of my favorite movies of all time (In Bruges), and my adorable, pregnant wife just pulled up. I think I'll go greet her with a smile. This is the foundation of my life. I know that is not what you were looking for, but it is what it is.
That's a fine foundation Hook.... cherish it... I just want to know where all of those feelings you have for your beer, wife, child come from. Where's the root of it all.
I believe in god.......... and believe in the magic of Christmas . Santa, festivities and family get togethers are all part of it. Tony , Can I ask how you celebrate Xmas........Is it strictly religous or do you also give gifts, attend holiday functions decorate.put up a tree ??? I guess I ask because if you see Xmas as strictly religous I cant see why you would partake in other holiday activities that were not of religous nature. If Santa is not a part of your childrens Xmas do they partake in other non religous Xmas activities....such as school xmas parties?
