To me this time of the year has always about celebrating Christmas as a time of giving and the time of the year that maybe for one week people can set their differences aside and just be nice to one another. I was not raised in a religious house but am becoming more and more religious as I grow older. I am now realizing that it's the time that I myself celebrate the birth of Christ (whether the bible tells me to or not) as well as all those other things. I respect other people's views on the subject so if all else fails, just take a little extra time out of your day to make someone else's a little bit better. It's something we should do all year but sadly that's not the case with most people. I guess what I'm trying to say with all this rambling is, can't we all just get along?! Also, if a kid wants to believe that a fat man in red suite brings them gifts on dec 25, by all means let them believe that, they're just kids for crying out loud.
Damn you people are special. ROTFLMAO OVER AND OVER. This thread started out about Santa and we're now down to Germs $ex life or lack there of. I got to go to a fish club meeting/bring a dish. Play nice. I'm bringing white chilli. It was requested.
Yes we promoted the Santa conspiracy and will do so with our granddaughter when she gets old enough to understand. There is nothing like the look that was on our children's faces Christmas morning when that one gift came from Santa. We opened all the other gifts on Christmas Eve and saved Christmas for that one gift from Santa and then spending the day reflecting on the true meaning of the day.
