What will happen next is the NRA will file suit against NY and win.

SCOTUS has already ruled on this. I bet SCOTUS pimp slaps NY.

 

That's what I'm hoping for. I'm still too young to fully realize the cyclical nature of gun control, but it still seems like this is the furthest anyone has gotten. It will be interesting to see how it plays out in court (crossing fingers it goes our way).

 

Send NRA some money guys, they are going to need it.

 

I respect your right to have that opinion. But my question is, if we aren't on step one, or possibly further; What then exactly IS step one?

I think step one will occur when the Supreme Court can no longer protect us. If somehow they were to ever rule against us with the second amendment all hell will break loose. Literally and figuratively. If that were to ever happen that staircase will become an escalator if not an elevator.

Before I go off the deep end, SCOTUS needs to get involved.
