Sand plum jelly!!

Love me some sand plum's. Every year we go out to the pasture and eat until we can't eat anymore. My granny just got finished canning some a few days ago.

 

Is that just a wild plum? If so they are everywhere around here.

I haven't seen any fruit trees here but I know they exist. Bought a canner today though, I plan on making salsa and trying to sell them at the farmers market. I'll either r make some cash or have a crap ton of salsa. Nothing really lost in the end

 

Ours are mostly yellow/orange when ripe and about as big around as a nickel. They still make good jelly though.

 

hmm jalapeno jelly on tacos. So its like a sweet and spicy taste?
