I have one. It has a great camera. Lol I like the pedometer and heart rate thingy. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Pretty sure my "heart rate thingy" would have broken after taking a picture of that snake!! I have never owned one, but a lot of people love them for how much more you can customize things than you can on iPhone, etc. Personally, I really don't care for the size of the phone, too big for me.
Can't decide if I wanna make the switch from my iPhone. For those that have one, how hard is it to get music from your iTunes on to one? Battery life as bad as what some make it out to be?
Loved my S4 up until a month ago...lately my Verizon service is crap. I had to do a Samsung update of some kind recently and its been garbage since then. The phone itself is awesome though.
I don't do music (other than iheart radio and the occasional pandora) on my phone. I've found the battery life to be very good. Better than my galaxy s3. It has a 'high speed' charging cord which recharges it faster than a regular micro USB cord. (You can still use the micro usb). I never had an iPhone so I can't make any comparison. yeah the last iphone i had was a 3g so I can't really say how good they are compared to that. I have some friends who have iPhones and every time i grab their phone, I am startled at how small the screen is compared to my s4. You should be able to go in to your iTunes folder and just copy/paste your music on to your phone. On my S4, some days I spend a lot of time on my phone (internet, fbook, phone calls) and some days I don't. I have come close to killing my phone but never have. There are some days that when i don't use it much, it will still be at 70% charge by the end of the day.
I absolutely love my s5 coming back to Android from iPhone. The screen is great with fast and smooth response. And the camera is just downright amazing.
Super easy to get the music. Get a micro SD card and adaptor. Put it in the card slot of your computer and open that drive. Open iTunes and drag song by song or album by album. I did 72 albums in about 10 minutes or less. That's the one nice thing about the s5, expandable memory. I'm actually debating switching back to the iphone 6 when it comes out. I've never owned a smart phone.other than iphone so this whole android thing is Greek to me. Battery life is really good compared to any iphone, I used to run my iPhone dead when I forgot a charger at work. At least 50% left with the same usage and no charger now. The camera, as Christine said, is great. But the speed of it is horribly slow, hopefully they can fix that with an update or something. 2-3 second or longer delay sometimes, really makes catching action shots hard Predictive text is annoying, and for some reason it will retype what you type at the weirdest of times, hence the edit
Guess I also should have said I went from an iPhone 4s to the galaxy s5. Screen size there is no comparison. I still have 2 iphone 4s' s and when I'm multitasking it's unbelievable how small the iphone screen seems. Reminiscent of when I went front a Razor flip phone to the iphone. The galaxy also has a ton.of preloaded apps a lot of which you can't delete. Most are useless to me, about like buying a new computer that is preloaded with a lot of junk trial offers except they can't be removed.
I like my S4, especially since my near vision has gone down hill. I find myself using some of the accessibility features (zoom in on just about anything) if I don't have my reading glasses close by. I'm likely to skip the S5 as I'm sure the S6 is only a year away And yes the preloaded crap is one of my only complaints.
