Have you ever heard, if you see a buck in a certain spot that he WILL visit that same spot again at some point? If so, do you put any stock in this thinking?

Well of course. These bucks for the most part are on a travel plan. They will come through the same areas again and again.

I ask this because there have been bucks that I got on my cams only once, and never saw in person all season long. Not necessarily during the rut either.

My #1 hit list buck a few years ago would frequent a scrape I had a stand over and not only did he visit often but nearly every time he came into it, he came in from the same direction, worked it almost exactly the same way and then would leave on the same route and even turn the same direction as he left.

I think deer have seasonal patterns, if you catch him doing something today if he's alive next year he'll be doing something similar next year. I took advantage of this and killed my biggest buck. In my experience week to week the woods changes so much you're chasing movement if you setup on what you saw last week.

Yes I have. Deer are creatures of habits. They will follow the same path until they experience danger or an obstacle.
