The first picture is from last winter. The others are from this year. Less than 3/4 of a mile away. Its all public land with very low deer population. I would say less than 12 deer per square mile.

Thoughts? I am about 80% sure its the same deer. I was just looking for some people to back me up on it.

I don't think so. He's an eight in the the first pic. And a solid 11 now. They doubt usually grow full length new times in a years time. Plus the way he's facing in the first pic is shows a crab claw on the left side and this year there's a crab claw on the opposite side..... Plus one extra full tine.

it was almost a 9 last year so it went from a 9 to an 11... I realize its opposite sides but the side that is lacking a tine both years is 100% the same at the tip of the main beam. It has the curl up. So in the first picture and the 3rd picture look at the end of the far away main beam... to me its a photo copy of the same beam. Like I said, pictures are very close together the deer population is terrible in the area and 80% of the bucks we had on camera last year over 3.5 years old died from the winter. In my mind I just don't see it being a different deer. I could be wrong though.

I don't think its the same deer. If you lost a lot of bucks last years, maybe this is a new one that moved in to take over the territory. Maybe its related to the other deer with the same genetics and character traits.
