Welcome to the site! I think they are different. The velvet buck's right side G3 has a pretty distinct crook in it's tip that is missing on the hard antlered buck. Might just be the angle, but to me, the velvet buck looks longer in tine length too.
Same deer. The right brow tine is unmistakeable. I thought the same thing as Fitz at first but I think that its the angle. The crook is pointing towards the camera so it "disappears". The little extra G4 on the left antler is also a dead giveaway. Nice looking deer that is likely 120's.
I'm thinking they're the same buck. It sure looks like the velvet picture has a taller G3 on his left side than the other (I realize this could be because of his velvet) but the brows look identical. I think its more likely that the taller looking G3 appears that way because of the different perspectives and velvet than the chance that two bucks have the identical looking brows..
