As some of ya'll know, last year I got some pictures of a nice deer in late decmeber. I had pretty much based my season hoping to shoot this one deer, and now he might be dead. A deer was shot on a property about 1 3/4 mile from where I got the pictures that has alot of the same characteristics of the one I got on camera. I don't think its the same deer, but it could be. I would really appreciate any opinions. Thanks!

I am tempted to say yes. Too many similarities and very similar mass.

Thanks so far guys. I keep going back and forth depending on the pictures. There is another picture that makes me think that they are not the same because their frame size seems way different. I really hope they are different deer.

    Here is that picture:

Could be. Depends on how old he is and he could have lost that much in a year. If I had to say one way or the other I'd say no.

I don't think that deer really lost that much from year to year. The photos are very deceiving.

The buck in the trail cam photos is not overly wide. Outside spread is just about at the tip of his ears, which puts him at about maybe 15-16 inches inside?

Great mass, split G3, and big difference between his G2s and G3s are the exact same on both bucks. So he lost a split on his right G3 and a kicker on his G2, not uncommon.

    I'm voting same buck.

Yep sorry man looks like it very well could be him. Too many similarites and non-typical points easily come and go. Looked at a 280" rack with the sheds from the last 3 years last night and it was very suprising how many NT points he had/didn't have between years.
