I tried to do a comparison, side by side picture but the school computer has a bunch of different programs than mine at home. What do you think?

I'd say different deer. The one in the top 2 pics is your goal. The other 2 are nice deer, but different.

I'm referring to the deer in the top two pics as the same deer in the bottom 2 pics but a year later

The bottom deer looks likes its got almost no brow tines and the top picks show a deer with 3-5 inch brow tines with his right being an inch shorter to the left.

It would be rare for a deer to lose brow tines and its too early for them to be busted.

I apologize...stupid mistake on my part - I didn't realize that the date was wrong both this year and last. I should have clarified that the buck in the bottom two pictures is from last year. I want to know if the buck in the bottom two pictures (deer from last year) is now/has grown into the buck in the top two pictures. Sorry for the confusion, I should have paid closer attention

I'm going to say same deer, was thinking different until you clarified the bottom two were the older images.

The only reason I think same deer other than similarities in the rack with addition of brow tines. He seems to have a distinct forehead to him, not aure what it is but it really stands out in the color photo and first two.

Just my thoughts and might be trying to see something that isn't there.

I can't honestly say. It's certainly possible but there's just nothing I can see to verify it one way or another. Crab claws are poor indicators and brow tines or lack of are not dependable either. Area genetics can produce a lot of bucks with similar characteristics so without a defining ear notch or odd detail it's really hard to say.
