Same deer? or offspring?

    Here is a picture of a buck I got on my cameras two years ago. Sorry its not a very good picture, and the only one I have. I didn't get any more pictures of him last year...

    But just this year I've had this guy show up on my cams, and he looks very similar to the old buck with the split G2's. What do you think?

    If I had to guess I would say offspring. That first picture seems to have a bit of a roman nose on him, making me think he is older. The next 4 pics seem like a younger buck looking at the neck.

    Hard to say because the frames on the two bucks are different. Usually if it is offspring the frame will be the same as well as some of the characteristics (in this case the G-2). IMO I do not think that it is the original buck but I do think it is offspring of the original buck. Very nice deer.

    I don't think its the same deer. Probably some of the same genetics though.
