same day,scrape cam

    Ok,look how small this fawn is standing with mom in my scrape that i freshened from last fall and the deer have took it over this early. both from sept 4 last week the buck was in velvet over this same spot.That fawn looks way to young for sept.
    Cam is a DLC covert black 60.

    I put up a dripper 10 days ago, I cant wait to check out that camera! Gonna be awesome, I have it on video mode!

    I have pics of bucks traveling with does already, yet I still see fawns with spots...weird year man...

    I dont think i have ever seen a fawn that small this late,season starts next weekend. The big buck that was hanging with this one has moved on,dropped off the trailcams about 3 weeks ago. this one i passed last fall he is almost a shooter but maybe if he lives one more year he will have something.

    Cool pics. I have to believe the last winter's mild weather factors into the smallish, late season fawns.

    I got a tiny fawn on my last pull too. Doe must have been bred really late!

    you can see the tinks hanging strip in the pics on the last pics and i used my own pee in the scrape itself. This was a real scrape last fall thru spring I have pics of bucks in april at this spot.
