I said last year I was going to pass on this buck if I saw him. I did see him and I did pass on him hoping he would make it to another year. I can't tell if this is him and was wondering your thoughts. The first two are from last year and the 3rd pic is this years photo.

    I don't know?

The deer in the 2008 pics almost looks a little bigger to me?

The rack does look simular though.

I was actually wondering the same thing. Are those two top pics for sure the same buck?

It's hard to say, but they definitely look similar.

I was thinking the same thing as the others that his body blew up from the first pic to the second. It's like he did a cycle of roids or something.

I'm almost 99% positive that it's the same deer in the first two. I still can't decide though about the third.

There's no doubt that the 1st and 2nd photos are the same buck, and he did put on some weight, but I don't think it's THAT drastic of an increase. His neck is bigger around but the rest of his body looks relatively the same to me. The 1st photo is tough to judge b/c of the severe angle of his body, and the 2nd photo is really blown out. I'd put that deer at 3 1/2 in those photos.

As for it being the same buck as the 3rd pic, it's hard to tell. The first buck has beams that really sweep up at the tips, whereas the 2nd buck doesn't appear to. But with the angle of his head/neck it's hard to determine.

Get a better camera and get some more photos of him, then check back later. :D

Sorry, that Leaf River is 5 years old and is the most dependable camera I've got. The sun just was too bright through the trees. I'll see what I got next month.

I would have to say no to those being the same deer.
