My brother got a picture of this buck last year and it looked to have a large growth. He emailed me a picture tonight and when I first saw it, it looked like the same buck. It has the longer beams with the g2s and g3s back a ways and a sticker on its burr.

What say you? Same buck one year later?

Sure looks similar. You need to tell him to turn around so you can get a view of the other side with the growth.:D

Looks the same to me. The main rack is obviously really similar, and it looks like there are stickers on the bases of both deer. Nice buck, good luck with him!

It would be interesting to see a pic of the other side and see if the growth is still there. After looking a a couple different angles from last year, it appears to have a longer brow, just like this one. I'm 99% sure its the same one.

I highly doubt I'd shoot him if he walked by.....we've got much better bucks than that on our property. I just found it interesting to see that he lived, even with that growth.

Same deer. Hands down. Same kickers off the base too.
As for the growth.. I've seen this a few times already on our land. Was scared the first time, thought maybe we had some rare disease or something. Anyway the first time we noticed it was a doe, probably 2 year old, she made it thru 4 more seasons before we never saw her again. There was an article in I believe North American Whitetail about abmormal growths a year or two ago. Pretty crazy stuff
