Well as some of you know my boys wrestle. My oldest is the 103 lb varsity wrestler. Today he face the #2 ranked kid in class AAA and the 08 state champ from ND. Last weekend he got the #1 kid in class A next week he gets a 32 man bracket with 10 ranked kids in it. The following Tuesday #4 in class A. What a way to cut your teeth. Keep your head up bubba.

Teejay, your boys have my respect. In terms of development, you couldn't ask for more in terms of your boy facing all that tough competition. Too many times young athletes do not see the big picture and just want to win now. But taking your licks over and over while constantly striving to increase your skill base, makes for one tough kid. Best of luck.

He will be ok. Starting out the year 1-6 sucks but all things considering. He is young and small. He will be ok. I'll keep you all posted on Sam and Jake (the 6th grader). Jake gets in the swing of things in Feb.
