    Was only about 100. It had some fantastic reviews. And has a really good drag too.

    Went out today and caught over 20 rockfish, all between 18-23". No pics though, sorry.

    Finally broke the new rod an reel in. Started off fluke fishing and caught a skate. Realized they are great fighters and a ton of fun to catch. So I switched over to the new rod and reel and threw on a bottom rig with a circle hook. Was using eel for bait. Ended up catching 7 (hooked 9 but pulled the hook on one and cut the leader on the other pulling it on the jetty.) the fight is comparable to a good sized bluefish or striper.     Wasn't exactly what I was planning but ended up being a ton of fun.
