    Heated up this week and the deer started to hit the salt. Here’s some pics of bucks hitting this lick. One of the 8’s is very photogenic and I had a half dozen pics of him every day. No sign of Captain Hook the big 8 that is larger than any of these, but the 8 with the scar on his side has been running with him this summer.

    These are big deer for this area. Between the poachers and the regular hunting pressure these guys have a PhD in survival. This summer has been great for growth too.
