The announcers wanted the Colts to win....heck, they didn't even sound pumped when the guy picked off Manning and went the distance.

Yeah, I felt that way as well! Did you see the interview of manning and Brees at the Pro Bowl, Peyton this, Manning that, seemed like Brees just sat there while they asked Manning every question! when they asked Drew a question, it was about manning..... Got me sick to watch it, I'm sooooo glad the Saints won!

Just think what this is doing for the city, the Mardi Gras coming up, the parade and all the merchadise thats going to be sold in the next few weeks, the City sure does need it!

Not really, we got beat by the superbowl champs. All that matters now is that we repeatedly embarrassed Green Bay.

Congrats to the Saints. I thought the game itself sucked.... boring to me for some reason, but oh well.

    The first half, yes.

I'm not sure how anyone can say the second half was boring.

I'm still in a state of disbelief.

The Saints just won the Super Bowl.

    Amazing.

Definately a good game in the 2nd half. And it's good to see the Saints win.

I will say the Saints looked good and were the better team. What a call to open the second half with an onside kick and I believe that was the momentum changer that they needed and the rest was history.

I didn't catch any of the game till the 4th QT being I was working. From the sounds of It the Saints controlled the game from the 2nd half on. I actually thought It was going to be the exact opposite with the Saints jumping out early and the Colts then bucking down on the Saints.

None the less I'm happy for the Saints! Breese seems to be a good guy and a class act. Manning on the other hand seems to be one of the biggest poor losers around. The guy couldn't even shake Breese's hand at the end. Yes Manning Is a competitor but so Is every other person In the NFL. It rubbed me wrong anyway.

Although I think Manning should have found Brees and shake his hand I found these quotes coming from Brees.

"After that game was over it immediately became kind of a free for all," Brees said today on ESPNews. "I was trying to find him and I know that he was trying to find me, but it was too much of a crazy crowd."

Brees said that Manning contacted him by phone late Sunday night.

"I was able to talk to him after the game, just text messaging," Brees said. "Obviously, I have a lot of respect for him and I know that he was definitely congratulatory toward our team."

Brees doesn't think anyone should interpret Manning going straight to the locker room as a slight.

"Peyton's a class guy," Brees said. "He definitely reached out."

So I just got a call from my son. He was in a cab heading for the airport in New Orleans. Yup, the party town. Seems like he decided he wanted to be in New Orleans for the Super Bowl game. Yesterday morning he made a plane reservation, a hotel reservation in the French Quarter and left sunny Atlanta. He'd also found, on line, a good sports bar at which he could watch the game. Flew out yesterday morning, checked in, went to the bar, drank, raised hell, watched the game, slept and was just now at 7 PM heading back to Atlanta. I said, "you flew down for 24 or 30 hours"? Yup, but he says it didn't cost him because he used some of his bizzillion air miles. LOL Now that's a long ways to go just for a drink or to find a TV. LOL
He didn't run around looking for Brees either. LOL
