    Having had one save my life. I am strongly in favor of wearing one. It really does not affect you or your shooting ability at all. **If you don't think 18 feet is high enough to get hurt. Set up your family step ladder and jump the 5 feet to the soft grass. Bet you have to be helped up. Be safe.

    Worried about only 18' high??

    I would NEVER go even 6' high without a GOOD safety harness.

    I know someone that was tying his haul rope on a stand 8' high. He was standing on a screw in step with his head about platform high. He lost has barnacle and fell maybe 4-5'. He is now paralyzed, in a wheelchair with his family doing everything for him. I mean everything....10 years SO FAR. Many times he told me his family would be better off if he didn't survive.

    DO NOT DO THAT TO YOUR FAMILY.

    Now is the time to get a good one. I have a Gorilla G-Tac that you don't even know it's on. I just saw them on clearance at Walmart for $50. I thought of getting a back up.
