Justin as a person who has worked very hard to make a watchable project you have to admit there is some crap out there that makes you throw up in your mouth a little and shake your head. It is so saturated with all the people making videos, and much of it is crap that portray hunters as bloodthirsty idiots.

No sir. You actually see the bucks on the hoof and have quite the wall of mounts to back it up. When you offer advice, it's valid.

It has gotten out of hand. Everything has already been done when it comes to filming whitetails. No one is original. BHOD and a couple others is all I can stomach anymore. I did used to like headhunters tv but even that got a little old.

I name every deer I shoot....on the package. Some are named burger, some steak, some roast. Same ol names, but they work.

Why did you even get on here then, you would have to download the forum app just to say that?? Wow I respect anyone who enjoys there hobbies and if you can't then I think I speak for the majority and say" get off the forum buddy" . You don't like it ? Why get on here? Or is it a hater thing? Your just upset that your filming never made it anywhere or didn't get any YouTube hits? The people on here do this because it's what they love, if you don't love it go hate somewhere else.

I do t have a single buck under my belt, nor do I have one on the wall, but you better believe I will name every buck that walks passed my camera more then once! I'll give advice on here for things that have worked for me and I even bought a little camera to mount on my bow to self film, and I'll probably post that "crap" on line too! Why! It's a passion, I love to do it my girls love to name them with me and watch them grow and so on, I'm sorry your passion for it all died for whatever reason, but gosh dude you really sounded like a little cry babby in your post. What kinda response were you looking for? Sympathy? A hug? Pat on the back for being " cooler "then the BHOD crew? Haters like you make me love the hunt that much more

Mike much of the filming to be honest sucks. If you put videos out there like it or not that becomes an example of what and how hunters are represented on social media, I do not appreciate some of the crap that is out there and unfortunately people build their opinions on what they see uploaded to the internet and when done by idiots is not flattering.

Not calling you an idiot or mocking your efforts at all, just trying to explain why it bugs me that people videoing hunts and putting stickers on the back window of a pick up seem to have an influence of the perception of hunters.

I agree with Sota. A fair majority of the YouTube hunting videos is poor quality at best. Sure everyone starts somewhere. Not saying people shouldn't try. It's also unfortunate that the worst of the worst videos are the ones non-hunters find & circulate & use to represent hunters or create a stereotype of hunters. I'd like to encourage people to pursue their dreams but no need to post videos of gut shots, spine shots, etc. go ahead & talk about mistakes but no need for the graphic video evidence showing something went wrong when you tried to kill that animal.

My question would be, why does it need to go on the internet? If you enjoy it, do it, but can't you enjoy it yourself? What's the purpose besides looking for confirmation?

Because you need 100+ acres to manage a property properly? I think some people on here would disagree..

There is always exceptions but.......majority knows 86 acres isn't squat in managing unless others around you are on board too
