Thanks for the comments everyone. Chris, great to hear from you, best of luck this season. Jeff...... Timing is everything. The land we are looking at is 45 acres which includes a 5 acre build site. It already has a well, septic and electrical service. The 40 that it butts up to contains a high ridge and some hollows. Sort of like buying a mountain, you know, a small one! There is about 5 acres tillable in corn and 3 or 4 food plots up on top of the ridge. Plenty of deer and turkey sign! We're still negotiating and keeping our fingers crossed.
