Southern Illinois Outdoors Kaskaskia River Bowfishing Tournament Saturday, August 13 · 9:00am - 3:00pm registration at 8:00am Boats will Launch from Smitty's Marina, New Athens, IL This tournament is not limited to boats - for those walking there are many bank walk and stalk bowfishing opportunities nearby. This year the Women's Outdoor News will be sending a team of their best writers, photographers, and videographers to capture the event as part of "The Great Carp Caper" The tournament is a big 10 format; 100% payback! - (no Silver Carp) Entry Fee 10.00 per bowfisher; with 5.00 Big Fish pot, and 5.00 for smallest Gar pot.
