For the life of me I'll never understand how every single Ryder Cup the Europeans make every putt, start hitting miracle shots, chip ins, irons to 5 feet, etc.. and USA misses everything they look at and go ice cold. Simply amazing.
Good lord the USA is snake bitten. Not sure what is going on but the European team hits metal balls and hides a magnet beneath the cup. I sure hope they figure it out before Hazeltine in 16.
I'm convinced there is some sort of force field following the europeans. There really is no other explanation. It defies logic really.
I'm a Phil fan, but what's the point of calling out Tom Watson in public? Definitely not a team player.
I like him too, but in the end their exactly what they are NOT TEAM PLAYERS. They are a private contracted player, who save for this one weekend don't play a team sport and very few have since high school...even then it is centered around individual scores affecting the team score but no one cares usually about the team score.
What was said? I missed that. Yeah.. I think the Americans say the right things before and during this event. BUT, there is a distinct difference between the energy and passion they have compared to the Europeans. It truly means something to the Europeans and looks like faked/forced emotion for the American side. I couldn't believe the body language and lack of emotion on saturday afternoon. Looked like they couldn't wait to get on a plane and head home. The only nice thing to see which really impressed the heck out of me was Patrick Reed. That dude wanted it in a bad way. He had some true energy and determination. And go figure ..... he wins 3.5 points! If they had 12 Patrick Reeds it would have been a blow out the other way.
