This weekend on US soil !! Bring home the cup boys! Its your patriotic duty to tune in this weekend and cheer on team USA as they dismantle Europe. Europe has pretty much owned USA in recent history. Stand up and start chanting for team USA. Come on Vito.... lead the chant.... USA...USA...USA. All kidding aside this is a great event for golf fans. It's nice watching these guys play as "teamates" and for something other than individual honors or money. For some reason USA just can't seem to have the chemistry or rise to the challenge. Hopefully that turns around. Players say there is more tension and they are more nervous at this event than a major championship. Should be fun.

And already the Americans are missing short little putts that lost the hole or could have won the hole.
That was the worst collection of shots I've ever seen Tiger (or any professional golfer) hit. WTF??? He was all over the lot this morning wow! Some of those shots were so far offline it's ridiculous
I was wondering what the deal was with all the golfyness (vehicles with golf stuff on them) and PGA parking signs along 355/290 up in Chicagoland. And more traffic than usual. It must be a big deal to some folks.

So the boys managed to pull out a well earned split in the morning round. At one point they were up in 2 of 4... then down in all 4 matches. Made a come back to split 2 and 2. This afternoon.... they're kicking some serious butt. USA.......USA>>>>> USA..... USA Tiger has been useless. Young Keegan Bradley has been fantastic. OPS.... he just missed a big putt. Still up 2.
I think Mickelson/Bradley have been nothing short of awesome. As well as Bubba and Webb Simson. They destroyed the Euros they played this asfternoon.
The Tiger has roared a little bit. In fact... he's played the last couple holes great. They actually have a chance to win this match. The other 3 matches are won or close to it. Ops... Colster just sunk a big one to force Woods to have to make his putt. Woods did. BUT... they're still one down with one to go. Woods and Stricker can at best tie. Tiger lost both his matches today. Everyone else is winning. He's done. He can't even get it up for the Ryder Cup.
I'm sure he did the night before. Great afternoon for USA. Aside from the Colsaerts kid who played out of his mind (-10 on his own ball), US really took it to them. Even ole Tiger found something on the back 9 yesterday. Him and Stricker ran into a buzzsaw though. Watson/Simpson? wow.... butt whoopin. Keagan Bradley is one of my new favorite golfers lol. The dude is intense and brings a lot of energy. This team seems to have a little more spark than usual. Right amount of youth and vets. Seem to have pretty good chemistry. It was really strange watching a lot of USA putts rolling in. It's usually the other way around. Long way to go....
Well, it's a new day. The USA kicked some serious butt this morning taking 3 of 4 matches to go up 8-4. Afternoon sessions are ongoing.... but we're struggling a little bit. Tiger is getting his butt kicked again. He's still burned toast. I think I'd sit his butt again in the round tomorrow... but I'm sure Davis Love won't do it. He's fixing to go 0 and 3 for his play this year.
