I have a Primary Scrape on are Property, and it gets hit by every deer in the woods? It has started to grow in size, it will get the size of a Car Hood, and you can smell it several feet away, I will try and get Picture of it and show you all. I had a Trailcam on it last year, and lost all the Pic due to my PC crash, But there were 7 different Bucks using it and 2 were 140+.
I will probably wait a few weeks on the Scent, Maybe start laying a trail around the 1st of November? I have a Curorisity scent and I put it on a Wick my first Hunt back in Oct,2 had 5 small deer, come to it, as all were young, it was neat watching them smell it as they would come to it?

Last weekend the bucks were still bunched up here in So. IN.

Lots of rubs and scrapes, and some pushing matches going on between the little bucks.

I expect it to bust wide open on the next full moon. Halloween could be a scary this year in the woods!

I found a hot scrape line and the wind will be completely WRONG to hunt it for the next 6 days. Just Awesome.

I saw a small scrape in Connecticut and have heard of some chasing already. Looking forward to my two weeks starting October 26-November 12.

Hunted the last 2 day here in Indiana, and with the above temps, the Deer have come to a halt. Like I said 2 days probably 12 hrs stand time and No deer sighting, which in this woods is very Odd. I also moved a stand and not seeing the 1st Rub? Iam really Puzzled, The scrape looks as if it has'nt been hit for awhile? So the Rut Up in my area is Nill...Last year I that scrape was tore up, and hit Daily? Again Puzzled. anyone have a Opnion why?

Hey, any of you hunt often in Northern Illinois. If so, I was wondering how much activity you have been seeing.
