Rutting Bull Elk pics (and a few cows as well)

    I do not believe that God created a more beautiful or majestic animal than the Rocky Mountain Elk. If so, I have not yet seen it.

    I took these photos last week at Rocky Mtn National Park. If you have yet to witness the bugling of a rutting bull, you have truly missed one of life's simple pleasures. AS much as I have enjoyed hunting them in the past, time did not allow for a hunt this year, so I opted for the National Park instead. I think I enjoyed this as much if not more.

    We love going to RMNP. The amount of Elk there is crazy. Thats also where I proposed to my wife. Its a beautiful place. Great pics!

    These pics were shot with a Nikon camera body and a 400mm lens.
