Sounds like the rut this year will be November 10th to 17th.

I'm going with the best hunting Nov 3rd - 6th this year. Last year I had the end of October but I didn't get it done.

Yea i got that info off deer and deer hunting they usually predict the rut around the full moon and around those dates is when the next full moon will be and they have been right in the past so i will be out during those dates for sure however i will be in the stand before that time as well.

same every year moon rut predictions are to sell magazines and calenders. Weather may slow down daytime activety, but the does dont get to pick when they come into heat it happens the same every year. Start taking notes when you hunt after a few years you will see, same every year.

I've always paid attention to the moon phase/rut timing and have for quite a while. I've taken notes from the past 6-7 seasons now and honestly, I do not see much of a correlation between the two, at least with my notes and neck of the woods.

The biggest factor that I've seen is temperature. When the temps drop, deer, not just bucks, but deer, are on their feet more. When more does are on their feet moving, the bucks wont be far behind them.

It doesn't matter for me. From Halloween on, my butt is in a tree, all day.
