Has it started in your area yet? It's just around the corner here in Oklahoma. On trail camera I've got a different buck visiting a scrape I found every day, and even a few nice ones during daylight hours. Does are also getting pushed pretty hard by little ones, but I think if we could get a cold spell here, it would officially be on for the big ones
Southern Maryland. I have seen smaller and medium size bucks cruising with thier noses down to the ground. The few doe I have seen look wired as if they have been pushed hard already, continually checking thier six. Was happy to see friday morning I had several new scrapes and rubs all around two of my stands. I think it is real close to Busting wide open here any day now. I hope to be in the right place at the right time when it does.))) Dave
I was excited for this weekend, but when it got here, the weather decided to stay warm with 30mph winds
It's right on the edge here, coworkers brother shot this one last night. Said they were out in the field chasing and grunting. Really wish I had a good field edge to hunt, landlocked on all sides by timber so get the cruisers
Only have seen one buck dogging a doe have seen numerous other bucks that seem to care less. Must be saving themselves for marriage
