Where do you guys hunt during the rut? Do you hunt scrape/rubs or do you go where the does hang out? I've seen deer every day I've been out but they have all been does and faws except for one small six pointer. I've been finding some scrapes/rubs in the areas. Any thoughts...

During the chasing and actual breeding phase of the rut, I hunt known doe groups.

After a few years hunting the same property you will quickly learn where you need to be when it gets hot. We have a dug road that parallels a creek that the bucks run all day long searching for does. But until you find those magic spots stick with hunting where the does are.

During the rut, find the does, the bucks will be right behind them. (lol...no pun intended)
