    What are your experiences? I'm in rain gear with umbrella atm, pondering if a mature buck will wander through

    I won't hunt if it's an all day downpour, but light rain/drizzle I'm in the game.

    I agree with Early In. Also, as soon as it stops any bucks without a doe will be up checking for fresh scent if they’re not on their feet already. Good luck.

    They have to move at some point. If you've seen rut activity in your area, I'd stay put!

    Last two years both public land bucks I've taken have been on a colder drizzly rain type of day [​IMG][​IMG]
