I just took a walk , and came upon more rubs, and 2 fresh scrapes. Should I hunt right over these scrapes? Do you think this is a big buck? And also I got snow last night so these scrapes were made today. What do you guys think? "The farther you go on foot, the better your chances"
Hunt the scrapes. It's a short window that those bucks work those. As soon as the does start to pop, they will for most part stop checking them. I'm seeing a lot of bucks checking scrapes on cam now. Good luck.
Those scrapes don't look "today" fresh to me. Don't see dirt on top of the snow, just looks like the snow melted on the bere ground. It the scrapes are adjacent to cover probably worth a set.
There's from today I saw dirt on the snow like they where digging and fresh buck tracks "The farther you go on foot, the better your chances"
