Jon Stewart went to my High School !! I met him, one day. I was not really into drugs or alcohol, but, one day I was walking down the hall-way, while I should have been in class. I was high (weed) as a mofo. 2 men turned the corner, and, were walking my direction; 1 was the Principal, the other, I didn't know. I thought to myself, oh ****, here we go. The Principal said, "Mr. mylastname, is there not a class for you to be in, right now ?" I was so incredibly smoked up and paranoid, that I just looked at him, in a daze. These men got closer, and, the Principal started asking me questions. I'm looking at the other man, standing just behind and to the right of the Principal. He's smiling, hard, trying to hold in laughter. He knew I was as high as a kite and totally zoned out. He interrupted the principal, introduced himself as Jon Stewart, and, shook my hand. Turns out, he was visiting the school...I'll never forget that. and NO, I did not then, or ever had a drug problem. I simply smoked weed a few times in my life.
I will say it's a damn shame a guy on a fake news show gives a better interview then real news shows. I thought Rumsfield did a good job as did John.
I love how the show goes back and shows how the politicians say one thing and six months or so later say the opposite thing. as for last night show rumsfeld to me showed how out of touch he really was as to what was going on around him, at the time before the invasion of iraq. The show really get's at the hypocrisy of government from both sides of the isles, Yes it's a comedy show with bite.
