Have a friend who said he seldom buys scent control products, and uses almost exclusively rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) on all his clothes, shoes, everything....

Anyone else ever heard of this? I mean the guy connects on deer regularly.

don't know. it would probably take the odor away but might make it's own. keeps the bugs away but vanilla works for that too

I would think it would fade your clothes rather quickly. I think vinegar with rubbing alcohol might work well, just keep away from flames until dry. But again cause your clothes to fade rather quickly.

I know diesel works well as a cover scent around here since there is so much of it out there after the logging jobs which the deer basically associate with food. It is a non-threat scent at the least. I think isopropyl would be about the same and I wouldn't think it would fade clothes much(wouldn't do anymore than scent-free wash every week would anyway IMO).
