I will be looking for boots too so I will be interested in responses. I have a pair of rubber Itascas which I am not happy with. The rubber has split on both boots in only two seasons of wear.

I have a couple pairs of lacrosse rubber boots. I've been using the un-insulated pair for 2 seasons now and they are holding up good.

I bought the Gande Mountain rubber boot a few seasons ago after looking at quite a few different brands and I am very happy with them. They were reasonably priced and very high quality.

I tried the Lacrosse and they dry rotted and cracked after two years. I now have a pair of Muck Woody Max. They are still in good shape and work fine except when I cross a creek or swamp with water over 10 to 12 inches deep. I ripped the upper portion on barbwire or heavy briars and they leak.
I will buy another pair of Mucks with Christmas gift cards.

I was looking at irish setter rutmasters. I need to try mucks too. My brother just bought a pair of mucks so i'll be putting some miles on those before i make my decision.

I have been using Lacrosse Burly 1200's for years. They usually last about 2 years before they start to get pin holes in them and worn out, but I also use them for more than just hunting.

I wear the Muck's woodland Max as well. With bigger than average calves the muck is the only boot that stretches to a comfortable level. Very comfortable.

Muck woody elite here too. Did a ton of research and these are the best out ther IMO. By the way the cheapest I have found them by far is at hunters friend For 109 at least $50 cheaper than the big box stores. Over 3 yrs no holes no issues. One tip though they are NOT good for the -30 or whatever they are rated. I think that's if your moving. Mine get cold under 20 and I use the boot covers.
