Wow. I have never had issues with my rubber boots smelling like rubber. Only thing I can suggest is a product sold at Cabelas. Try some Deer Dander. It is a cover/attractant spray that smells like deer. Seems to have worked well for me this year. Give it a try and see what happens. Good luck there.

Try airing them out. They have been confined to bags inside of a box for months...if not years. Good luck!

I always buy my rubber boots well in advance of the season and seal them in a plastic bag or container with leaves, dirt, cedar branches, pine needles or whatever type of trees you have where you hunt. It takes some time but the smell will eventually fade.

Pretty much always wearing rubber boots when I hunt... I spray them down good with fall blend. But, two things may help you. Someone mentioned airing them out... that is a for sure. Brand new boots sit in warehouse and get sprayed with who knows what... Secondly, I always step in any natural droppings I see... can't beat a little deer poop smell on your boot. ;).

    Good luck!

mix some baking soda with some water and rub the boots down with the mix, then leave then along for awhile. that should solve your issue.

Like the others said, air them out (mine stay outside all year round for the most part) and baking soda (inside the boot as well as outside). I also try to never take them inside my vehicle (crocs are great shoes to drive to the woods in), and I always step in cover scent on the way in (it could be deer poop, horse poop, walnuts, or just mud!)

Baking soda and water in a 5 gal. bucket , weight the boots down with some rocks inside them and leave soak for a few days , sprinkle some baking soda inside them as well .
