I am thinking about making my own target. I was going to use a box and stuff it with insulation that I bought when I redid my bath room. And for the face of it I have some pieces of conveyor belt that is about 1/8 to 1/4 in thick I haven't measured it yet. But do u think the thickness of the rubber will damage the arrows.
