Rough guess on inches? Help me win a bet

    we have a bunch of pics from this nice buck, mainframe 8 with a nub on each side. Brother and friend seem to think he's over 145 I think they're on drugs. They're excited because this is one of 3 buck on our lease that we have regular pics of. What's your guess? I say 135 max IF that ..

    I would say 110" max, but probably closer to 100". Looks like a young deer with a lot of potential.

    Yeah he is below 130 but given 2 more years he might break that and then some. He has great brows and a good frame just needs more mass and tine length. That should come with some more age.

    Way under 145, just over 100 is my guess. This is a 144 5/8" gross - 138 3/8 net.

    I am not trying to tell you how to live your life but if you quit putting smaller young bucks on the wall in a few years you might be able to expect a shot at a buck on par with what is available in Iowa.

    Yes somewhere around 100-115. Also how are you going to win a bet on a deer's score if it is still alive...? I think you and your hunting buddies should have went a little easier on the sauce during this conversation and placing of the bet.
