Have a rope or cord type coking device for my crossbow. It works fine but boy is it noisy in the field. When trying to attach the hooks the hard plastic handles keep banging against the synthetic stock. Mine are Barnett brand and would think they could do better than that. Anyone come up with any modifications or coatings to soften the sound? Or a different brand that is quieter?

You can put cloth camo tape on them to help some but being quiet is not really important. Keeps things from sneaking up on you while loading.
