    Let the debate begin:

    A new CNN survey of GOP voter preferences for Mitt Romney's future running mate reaches a surprising conclusion. With 26 percent of the vote, Condoleezza Rice leads all other contenders, including guys like Rick Santorum, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, and Paul Ryan.

    Would being female and black help Romney? Would her connection to W hurt Romney?

    I am thinking slam dunk victory if he gets her.

    I'm pretty sure CR has stated many times over the years she has no interest into running for a political office. Is there some rumors saying she is considering running with Romney?

    She has denied any interest but there has been a good bit of flap about her as VP in the media in the past few days. She definitely makes more sense as a VP than Sarah Palin.

    Sad that the state of our political system and the media keep the best candidates from running. Rice and Daniels would be great for this country but it will probably never happen.
