If Romney does support the SFW, and considering his wildlife budget raid in MA under Romney's watch, would it change your opinion of him? For those that don't support him, but support whoever wins the GOP, would you still vote for him?
I never thought I would find myself saying this but, I may just sit this one out. I have no freaking clue who to vote for other than I don't share vaules with ANY OF THEM. So what should I do? Least of all evils?
I think that guy's blog is a reach (at best) to paint Romney as a bad guy because he supports the SFW. He says that the group (and by assoc., Romney) is stabbing TR legacy in the back.. and this is his evidence... "In Montana, SFW is pressuring local county commissioners to circumvent the state wildlife commission on predator management." Oooohhh nooo... not a sportsmans' organization that trys to get something done on a local level when it isn't get done at a state level. Oh my gosh! Hang them all!!! Then.. this shocker.... "In Arizona and Idaho, SFW is lobbying legislatures to allow landowners to own and sell hunting privileges.." Note 'landowners'.... Selling hunting privileges. This is already done in other states. Big deal. For the record.... I really, really, really,really, really, do NOT like Romney. But this is just silly.
But, will you vote for him? I'm kind of torn. 4 more years with Obama and hopefully a real GOP candidate in 2016, or the possibility of Romney winning the election and no real GOP candidate in 2016 and maybe even 8 years of Romney. No matter what, the next 4 years doesn't look good.....and possibly longer.
Have the last 4 been that bad on you Dan or anyone here? My Retirment and Stock holdings have done 50% better the last three years, I have found a new Job with a nice raise. The only issue is my home value, it's worse. I have not done this well since Slick Willy, my wife on the other hand has not had a good four years, it has more to do with the state goverment than anything else. I wonder if we all looked at where we were 4 years ago without bias what the answers would be.
I would absolutely vote for Romney if he is the nominee. I think another four years of Obama would be catastrophic to the USA. The Obamacare rules that will take effect, the UN gun ban, and particularly the appointment of any more progressive Supreme Court Justices.
We haven't felt the full effects of his policies yet. Christine beat me to it. And beat me to this too.
I will not delve to much into this as I am having a good day... SFW is absolutely the WORST "conservation" group out there. Nothing but crooks who are only interested in conserving their bank accounts. Pure Poison. As for Romney. I don't necessarily think he supports SFW, just hasn't been exposed to their debauched(sp?) agenda. He simply with hunting for elk, moose, bigfoot with them.
The GOP doesn't have a good candidate period. I wouldn't vote for Romney if he was the only one. Paul would have to get it. Im not a huge President Obama fan but he has done a decent job and think we are better off now then when he took office. Plus he got quite a few bad guys on his watch. I'll give him credit for that. Just don't feel comfortable with his position on guns.
Not a big fan of any primary candidate that the republicans have fielded. Now with that said I will take any of them in heart beat over the anti-American apologist we currently have as president
