My Diamond Rock had slides and I then got a Z7X with rollers. bow are nice but my preference is rollers. broke a couple slides and probably should have replaced them more often. also the rollers seem more efficient.

I personally like slides (teflon) but my current bows have rollers. Specifically hoyt which have a really nice roller system imo. I wouldn't let the slide be the determining factor of which bow to buy.

I may be in the minority but I'm not a fan of the flex rollers. I really don't want a lot of flex and movement from the slide. It is a crucial area of a bows repeatability.

I have rollers on my Hoyt too which I do like alot .I like the way they are in line not next to one another. But I've been told that with the roller the is no front to back moment like with cable slides which made me start to think about it more. PSE has no rollers on there bows but make the fastest bows on the market. Just made me start thinking about it some

Fastest bows on the market with the raunchiest draw cycles to match. Any of the other companies can make speed bows but most prefer to take comfort and shootability into account and keep their bows more well rounded. The companies that make speed bows do so simply knowing that anything they make and can tout an arbitrary rating over the industry average will sell a certain number of bows to the chest thumping egomaniacs out there that love nothing more than to brag about their speed bow rating. Sure they don't really like shooting it a lot but that speed sure is cool.
