Oh, I don't know... The fact that probably half the B1G lost to MAC or MAC caliber teams... Go look up a few of the teams total statistics for the year. It will blow you away how terrible they ranked in total yards, rushing years, passing yards etc etc... Settle down, I wasn't busting on Bucky. If that were the case I would have been talking Rose bowls
I just figured you were going to bring up stupid class rankings and the star system. The Big Ten needs more good teams. Right now we only have 4 (maybe 5) programs that are competitive with the rest of the nation.
Stupid Class Rankings are a direct correlation with stupid team ratings 2-3 years in the future. The SEC has dominated recruiting which is why their teams have dominated the top 10 afterwards in actual football. You can only coach so much, it takes the players to execute.
I respect your opinion, as well as your team, Brad... but that's one heck of a stretch. I see only one team being competitve with the rest of the nation, and maybe 2 others that are hopefully moving in the right direction. The final 2012 season AP poll says it all; tOSU at #3... the next closest Big10 program at #17, and that's friggin Northwestern ...the Big10 is in a sad state right now.
Bama is #1 in oversigning... Again. http://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/blog/eye-on-college-football/21733077/
There was also something like 60 UA students arrested on drug charges today. http://blog.al.com/tuscaloosa/2013/02/74_charged_today_in_drug_arres.html
