I heard this guy's name thrown around for many years, but I don't really know anything about him.

I saw in Jeff's post the other day that he has killed 6 bucks that tally 1,000 inches? Damn thats impressive to say the least! Were these all stickbow kills? Where does this guy live and how does he pull that off?

Just looking for some background info, some little tidbits you may know about him. Not really looking for a link to his book, etc.

I did a quick little search and noted he was originally from Ohio but now lives in Iowa.

I first read about Roger almost 2 decades ago. Hes a whitetail big buck killing machine. Very picky with the bucks he takes and he doesnt mind going a season or two without killing a buck... but when he shoots one its a "hammer" there is very well written chapter devoted to him in "Whitetails Bowhunter Masters" book by Dan Bertalin (sp)
