I was very delighted to have the honor to try these out this spring during turkey hunting. I have worn Rocky Boots in the past when I worked construction and found they held up under some very tough conditions and left my feet dry at the end of the day.
Even though it wasn’t needed for turkey season it was a reassurance come early deer season the SIQ Atomic will help control my human odor on a the microbial level. Meaning, the Atomic will keep my feet dry from moisture which is the biggest cause of human odor.
I found the 16” high MudSox to also be very easy to pull on with the on/off handles and of course no issues pulling them off either. The waterproof full neoprene sock made for an awesome fit and I found them to be almost as good as a good pair of gym shoes to wear. They also performed well in the mud and the outsole did not accumulate mud but actually kept clean of mud, nor did I find myself slipping on inclines either.
So, if you are looking for spring/early fall hunting or scouting boot I would suggest taking a good look at the MudSox Waterproof Hunting Boot from Rocky Boots.
